"Nova" by Carina Spencer

Chevron stripes fade into a center band of stars in this generously sized, mosaic colorwork cowl. The slipped stitches create a sturdy fabric, finished on both ends with a ribbed casing. A tasseled drawcord gives this practical accessory a playful touch!

Mitzi used one each of all four colors of Knit Stars Plant Based Princess to make her Nova. Pattern calls for US Size 3 (3.25mm) needles.

"Hookin Scarf" by Sherri Torrez

If you’re a fan of Loops Original patterns, then you’ve probably heard of the Effin' Scarf, Loops’ top selling knitting pattern. Crocheters, rejoice! Sherri created a crochet version that has similar drape and shape and is every bit as easy and fun!

Using an 8-9mm hook with this thin, smooth yarn gives you big lacey stitches and great loft and drape. One skein will make a generous Hookin' Scarf - or add a second skein for tassels.

This pattern is offered free upon request with the purchase of the yarn - just drop us a note at checkout!
