DanDoh Linen (single skein)
Please keep in mind that these are hand-dyed yarns and colors may vary from the photos. This is part of the beauty of hand-dyed yarns.
Love of linen can change your life -- it opens up entire seasons of projects and fashion! And watching these natural fibers soften and swing while you wear them is a precious experience. DanDoh's Linen base is a 100% pure linen fiber that's spun into a unique chain ply structure. It knits up into a light fabric and provides dramatic drape. This Japanese linen in a DK weight knits quickly and has a soft hand that gets better every time you wear it.
Knit Star Yumiko Alexander has overseen the creation of two amazing, exclusive Knit Stars 5.0 colorways in DanDoh linen: Steel Gray and Steel Blue.
Knit Stars 5.0 Yarn Usage:
Yumiko will be teaching you to make her new, exclusive Horizon sleeveless pullover, including how to modify the length of the body and the sleeves to suit your preference.
The length of the sweater body is the same for all sizes: 21" (53cm) in the front, and 22-3/4" (58cm) in the back.
To make your own sleeveless Horizon, you'll need 5 [6, 6] skeins of DanDoh Linen or 620 (744, 744) yards / 567 (680, 680) meters for finished bust sizes 42 [47, 52]" / 107 (119, 132) cm. Note: Yumiko recommends a positive ease of 4-6 inches (10-15cm) and measuring an item from your closet that has a boxy silhouette to find your best fit and have enough yarn for your project.
To add sleeves of any length, you'll need to add an additional skein.
