LolaBean Canary Bean and Cool Beans Sport is the soft and washable sport weight you'll reach for over and over. Created for our fall Hot Loops wall, this only-ours yarn comes in a palette curated by the fabulous Adella herself to coordinate with her Canary Bean base.

This listing is for LolaBean's hand-dyed colors on the "Canary Bean" base along with the solid colorways Adella curated, which were dyed by our friends in Peru to pair with her hand-dyed colors.

Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino Wool 
Weight/Length: 100g = 328 yards (299m)
Gauge/Needle Size: 6 sts = 1 inch on US #4-5 needles
Care: Machine wash on gentle, or hand wash and lay flat to dry.

"Along Those Lines" by Lauren McElroy

This two color slip stitch pattern knit flat against a reverse stockinette stitch background makes the lines really pop! Knit flat and seamed together, with an optional cowl neck for extra coziness. This piece is gender neutral, and has customizable sizes.

To knit "Along Those Lines" you'll need one skein each of two contrasting colors. Our model uses two solids, Stratus and Birthday Suit. Pattern calls for a US size 3 (3.25mm) needle.

"Stay Soft Shawl" by Veera Välimäki

This shawl is a true three color dream! Choose your favorite colors – or your favorite speckles! – and cast on for this pretty and easy shawl! All you need is garter stitch and some stripes.

We used 1 skein each of solid Lavendusty, solid Espresso Bean, and hand-dyed Sugar & Spice. Pattern calls for a US size 6 (4.0mm) needle.

Finished measurements: 88” (224 cm) wingspan measured along the top edge and 17” (44 cm) deep at deepest point; after blocking.


"Kiora" shawl by Tamy Gore

"Kiora" is a bold, curvy shawl that incorporates short rows which gives it a rounded shape, especially as you decrease. A built-in I-cord edge produces a nicely finished edge.

Kiora calls for two skeins of your main color, plus one skein of a contrast color. We used hand-dyed Brawny as the main color, and Stratus as the contrast color. Pattern calls for US size 6 (4.0mm) and 8 (5.0mm) needles.

"Ursina" sweater by Jacqueline Cieslak

Ursina is a classic sweater with simple construction and unique detailing. The sweater is constructed from the top-down with raglan shaping for the sleeves, optional horizontal bust darts in 6 cup sizes, and instructions and yardage details for cropped or full length. Ursina includes directions to try it on as you work and notations to help you tweak the size according to your preference.

To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your chest and choose the size that fits with 2-6” of positive ease.
